Transporting Champions – Again!
That’s a wrap! For the second year in a row, all 3 Supercross Champions are indeed once again all OGIO Athletes! A huge congratulations to 450 Champ Cooper Webb, 250 East Champ Chase Sexton, and 250 West Champ Dylan Ferrandis as they each took home the very well deserved #1 plate for winning the 2019 Supercross Series!
Cooper Webb against the world! Webb put together an amazing 2019 season! He put in steady races in each round, lap after steady lap, barely ever missing the podium and never giving up, even on the toughest of race days. In Vegas, Webb looked poised all day in the very tough 450 class. Methodical race strategy in Vegas paid off for the entire season as Webb knew he didn’t need to finish first to win the title. Webbs 3rd place finish for the night earned him a spot on the podium but more importantly earned him his 450 Championship!
The 250 class told a completely different story in Vegas. Adam Cianciarulo had his sights set on a victory and instead had a heartbreaking crash in Vegas! Cianciarulos crash forced him to finish the race on a twisted and bent up bike which kept the fan favorite from the finish he was hoping for. Meanwhile, all that mayhem didn’t stop Ferrandis or Sexton as the two 250 riders were looking to earn titles in Vegas. Ferrandis did what he had to do in Vegas and came home with the win for the night as well as the 250 West Championship Title! Sexton came in 4th in the east/west shootout in Vegas knowing he just had to finish ahead of Justin Cooper to walk away the seasons 250 East Champ! Both Ferrandis and Sexton earned their titles and have proven themselves as huge talents with a bright future in racing!
Congratulations to ALL the OGIO sponsored athletes that raced the 2019 Supercross Season!
OGIO is proud to be Transporting Champions!
