The 2020 AMA Supercross World Championship kicked off this weekend in Anaheim, CA. This historic Supercross race freezes the 2 wheeled racing world, enticing race fans around the globe to tune in and find out who will etch their name in the record books alongside the best to ever race American supercross. This year had a pair of Yamaha's upfront in both the premier and regional championships. We’re proud to say OGIO swept the 250 class with Justin Cooper earning his career first-time Supercross win taking the victory over his STAR Racing teammate Dylan Ferrandis followed by Geico Honda’s Christian Craig rounding out the podium in 3rd (after Forkner penalty docking him 2 positions to finish 5th).
The 450 class was packed with talent, with 14 of the 22 main event racers as past champions in either Supercross or Motocross. The racing between Justin Barcia, Adam Cianciarulo, Justin Brayton and others, was unbelievably close with only tenths of seconds separating the battle. Witnessing Copper Webb’s tough start to his day(15th qualifier) to an eventual podium by night's end, was the ride of a past and current champion. Kudos to our guys for taking the 2nd and 3rd positions on what has been considered the most stacked field in the history Supercross.
Bring on St. Louis!!!!”
