With three rounds completed in the 2019 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship series, OGIO supported riders are out again touring the country grabbing more race wins!

The series opener at Hangtown was the triumphant return of Jason Anderson.  Anderson, the 2018 Supercross Champion was forced to sit out this years supercross season due to Injury.  Anderson came back to Hangtown and proved himself fully healed as he earned a podium finish his first race back. In the 250 class at Hangtown OGIO bags transported all 3 Podium athletes to the races as Cianciarulo, Cooper and Nichols grabbed 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively in the highly competitive class of young guns.

The MXGP Circuit is back!

The MXGP Circuit is back! Round 5 in Lombardia Italy was a mudder!  The Italian fans were treated to great racing all day with the OGIO supported Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing team of Clement Desalle and Julien Lieber battling it out on the difficult, rough, and rain saturated track at Mantova. Desalle’s performance was stellar, especially coming off of a month-long pause in training. Just narrowly missing the podium, Desalle battled it out with some of the younger riders by keeping them at bay with his consistent riding and lap times.  With a 5th in moto 1 and a 7th in moto 2, Desalle road himself to a 4th place finish overall on the day and is sitting 5th in overall points.

Transporting Champions – Again!

That’s a wrap! For the second year in a row, all 3 Supercross Champions are indeed once again all OGIO Athletes! A huge congratulations to 450 Champ Cooper Webb, 250 East Champ Chase Sexton, and 250 West Champ Dylan Ferrandis as they each took home the very well deserved #1 plate for winning the 2019 Supercross Series!

Cooper Webb against the world! Webb put together an amazing 2019 season! He put in steady races in each round, lap after steady lap, barely ever missing the podium and never giving up, even on the toughest of race days.

OGIO goes for another championship 3 peat!

As the 2019 Supercross season winds down OGIO athletes hold the points lead in all three championships! (450SX,250W and 250E).

OGIO’s Cooper Webb holds a 23 point lead over 2nd place, with a 20th place or better Webb will be crowned the 2019 AMA 450 Supercross Champion!

The two 250 classes are much tighter, with a combined east/west shootout there are sure to be fire works at Sam Boyd Stadium Saturday night. Adam Cianciarulo holds an 8 point lead over Dylan Ferrandis on the west. Should Dylan win Saturday, Adam would need to finish 5th or better to take home the championship. While Chase Sexton holds a 9 point lead over Justin Cooper in the East, a 6th or better by Sexton will guarantee his the 250 East title. Be sure

OGIO HIGHLIGHTS 450 SX:

Denver supercross at the famous Mile High Stadium did not disappoint for what was the 15th round of the 2019 AMA Supercross / FIM World Championship series. It had been well over 15+ years for the folks in Denver to host a Supercross race and the return to Denver did not come without a few surprises. The 15th round returning after 15 plus years hosted 15 OGIO athletes along the starting line in the nights premier 450 class main event!  The first surprise of the night however was the snow….Yes, you read that right, snow! The practice was held in what was basically a snow flurry and while the riders didn’t have too many issues it was certainly tough to get warm and up to speed in the limited short practice sessions.

We truly do transport champions! This last weekend in Atlanta, the races were tight and the track was the most technical track all season including San Diego. Round 10 will be held at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona, Florida on March 9th.

OGIO Highlights:

“For us, the fans of Supercross, this weekends East/West shootout in Atlanta, Ga was exactly what we have been waiting for and that was the showdown between the red plate holders Adam Cianciarulo representing the West Coast and Austin Forkner representing the East Coast. We will say there was certainly one person in Atlanta that may not have wanted this showdown and he is the Team Manager/Team Owner,  Mitch Payton. The past few seasons have been a bit of a dry spell for his Pro Circuit Kawasaki team and now that he holds both the East and West red plates, he’s looking to get out of Atlanta healthy

Round 7 will be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on February 16th.

OGIO Highlights:

Cooper Webb: How many races can this guy win?! Thanks to his unreal talent and hard-working team, Webb is now credited with 3 wins on the 2019 season. The guy is on rails and the Webb Train has arrived!

Justin Brayton: What else can we say about JB10? He’s one of the most likable riders in the pits, silky smooth style on the bike, family man during the week, and hauls ass in stadiums on Saturdays. Justin had great rides throughout the day, finishing solidly in 5th in the main event. Keep ‘er rolling JB!!
