OGIO HIGHLIGHTS 450 SX:

Denver supercross at the famous Mile High Stadium did not disappoint for what was the 15th round of the 2019 AMA Supercross / FIM World Championship series. It had been well over 15+ years for the folks in Denver to host a Supercross race and the return to Denver did not come without a few surprises. The 15th round returning after 15 plus years hosted 15 OGIO athletes along the starting line in the nights premier 450 class main event!  The first surprise of the night however was the snow….Yes, you read that right, snow! The practice was held in what was basically a snow flurry and while the riders didn’t have too many issues it was certainly tough to get warm and up to speed in the limited short practice sessions.

WHAT: 2019 SX Season Rd. 9 Recap
WHERE: Atlanta, GA

We truly do transport champions! This last weekend in Atlanta, the races were tight and the track was the most technical track all season including San Diego. Round 10 will be held at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona, Florida on March 9th.

OGIO Highlights:

“For us, the fans of Supercross, this weekends East/West shootout in Atlanta, Ga was exactly what we have been waiting for and that was the showdown between the red plate holders Adam Cianciarulo representing the West Coast and Austin Forkner representing the East Coast. We will say there was certainly one person in Atlanta that may not have wanted this showdown and he is the Team Manager/Team Owner,  Mitch Payton. The past few seasons have been a bit of a dry spell for his Pro Circuit Kawasaki team and now that he holds both the East and West red plates, he’s looking to get out of Atlanta healthy

Cooper Webb: How many races can this guy win?! Thanks to his unreal talent and hard-working team, Webb is now credited with 3 wins on the 2019 season. The guy is on rails and the Webb Train has arrived!

Justin Brayton: What else can we say about JB10? He’s one of the most likable riders in the pits, silky smooth style on the bike, family man during the week, and hauls ass in stadiums on Saturdays. Justin had great rides throughout the day, finishing solidly in 5th in the main event. Keep ‘er rolling JB!!
